In their inaugural year with a ski
racing program, Westminster College crowned the Women's Alpine
Combined National Champions, in second Sierra Nevada College, and
in third Colby-Sawyer College. It was a very close race between
Westminster and Sierra-Nevada in Wednesday's Giant Slalom team event,
but Westminster dominated in the Slalom with a 4.01 second win over
Sierra Nevada. Colby-Sawyer pulled a 1.58 second come from behind to
take third in the Slalom team event. |

deficit to win the Men's Slalom Team Title by a large margin of 10.35
seconds.
In the Men's Alpine
Combined National Championship there was a three-way tie at the end of
the Slalom; Sierra Nevada, Colby-Sawyer, and Westminster each had 5
total team points from the GS and SL. (Ties are broken by
Individual Place Points from both events.) Colby-Sawyer (65
p.p.) wins their first title, Sierra Nevada (70p.p.) in second, followed
by Westminster (76 p.p.). |
